Ames, Iowa

The tradition set by Mike Lacey II was to have all his siblings over to his house the night before the Lacey / Hartman reunion.  In honor of Mike we meet at a restaurant near Boone and catch up on everything that happened in the last year.  This year we met at an Irish Pub in Ames, Iowa called The Dublin Bay Pub.  I guess we meet at an Irish pub because the Lacey's and the Sheehy's claim to come from County Kerry, Erie (Ireland to the uninitiated).  It happened to be Madelyn Lacey's 15th birthday but she did not want us to sing "Happy Birthday" to her.  Don't blame her, I have heard these people sing and it is not nice.
